Implantable Catheters
The course presents the types of catheters and their indications, the types of access, as well as the techniques for implanting fully implantable and semi-implantable catheters and exceptional situations.
The student will have the opportunity to learn about the care for maintaining the catheter during and after its use, and about the removal procedure. Regarding possible complications, there are infectious and non-infectious ones.
Through the autonomy of schedule and place of study, students will have access to excellent content, developed with the support of specialists from the Central Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.
