The Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (IOT) is a reference and one of the largest centers in Latin America and Brazil in research, orthopedics and traumatology. It treats severe and highly complex cases in outpatient care, inpatient care and the Referral Emergency Unit, with emphasis on spinal cord injuries, replantations, complex reconstructions and a tissue bank.
