Biosafety in Genetically Modified Organisms

Course on the theme of biosafety in genetically modified organisms divided into 5 lessons with didactic content prepared by professionals with experience in bench and regulations of the National Technical Commission of Biosafety - CTNBio.

The course details good laboratory practices and general rules for handling GMOs, specifies the levels of biosafety and examines the provisions of current legislation in order to elucidate the necessary steps for the constitution and operation of Internal Biosafety Committees within Institutions according to the rules established by CTNBio.

In addition, through an exploratory lesson in biosafety level 1 and 2 units, the student will have access to the requirements necessary for certification in accordance with current standards.
