The Obstetrics module of the online ICU course provides excellent learning of medical practice in ICU for pregnant women with gestational pathologies that require intensive treatment.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Brazilian Network for Studies on Hypertension in Pregnancy (RBEHG), about 80,000 maternal deaths and 500,000 fetal deaths occur annually worldwide due to hypertensive diseases in pregnancy, such as pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. The numbers show the need for professional qualification in health centers and Intensive Care Units (ICUs).

Providing autonomy of time and place of study, this course module seeks to train professionals in the care of pregnant women who need intensive obstetric treatment, in a humanistic way and with updated knowledge in interventional conduct.
