Surgical Instrumentation – July Class

The course aims to qualify nursing technicians and nurses with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work in surgical instrumentation, in small and medium-sized elective procedures.

The training prepares the student to work in the operating room, collaborating with the surgical team and being responsible for the supply of instruments. It is a work routine that requires a professional attitude, a foundation in Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and specific activities of the surgical procedure.

The course lasts more than 450 hours, with classes taught by leading experts in surgical instrumentation. During the course, students learn in practice, at the Hospital das Clínicas da USP, the largest hospital complex in Latin America.
