Urticaria are edematous papules lasting between 30 minutes and 24 hours and extremely pruritic. Angioedema is the sudden edema of the deep dermis or subcutaneous tissue and resolves more slowly, within 72 hours. Urticaria is produced by the release of mediators from mast cells located around the vessels of the dermis, the main mediator being histamine. Immunological and non-immunological factors are involved in the pathogenesis.
During the course, you will learn about the immunology of urticaria, autoimmune processes, pathologies, classification and epidemiology. You will also learn about an approach related to chronic spontaneous urticaria, as well as its laboratory findings, clinical aspects, therapeutic actions and the impact generated for the individual.
