The specialization provides students with a critical understanding of the convergences and divergences between diagnostic and therapeutic practices of psychological and psychiatric traditions, in the reality of mental health care policies. It also addresses the deepening of theoretical concepts on psychopathology and experience in clinical practices of differential assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention, in outpatient and ward care, in individual, group and family modalities.
There are 468 hours of excellent content, including 200 hours of practice supervised by leading experts from the Institute of Psychiatry (IPq HCFMUSP). During the internship, professionals will also be able to experience individual and group care for adult, adolescent and child psychiatric patients.
