Challenges in Different Care Scenarios for the Elderly

The course offers an opportunity to update skills for all health professionals involved in the care of geriatric patients in areas such as nursing, physiotherapy, nutrition, psychology, social work, physical education, dentistry, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pharmacy.

According to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO), Brazil is expected to have the 5th oldest population in the world. By 2050, 22% of Brazilians are expected to be 65 or older. This trend further reinforces the importance of professional qualifications.
