Immersion in Palliative Care - Multiprofessional

Palliative Care Immersion trains professionals to provide care to patients with life-threatening illnesses.

The program is designed for professionals who already work in palliative care and intend to start or implement the area in their services. Practical Immersions can be attended by any health professional, but guidance will be provided by team members with the following training: nurses, physiotherapists, dentists, psychologists and occupational therapists.

All activities involve monitoring the practical work, on a day-to-day basis, of the members of the team at the Scientific Technical Center for Palliative Care at HCFMUSP (NTCCP-HCFMUSP) in the different scenarios that make up the patient and family care network.

In the end, the professional will be able to make a difference in Palliative Care, in a safe, humanized way and based on the best scientific evidence.
