Specialization in Surgical Instrumentation, Night Class - 2nd Semester of 2026

The course aims to qualify nursing technicians and nurses with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work in surgical instrumentation, in small and medium-sized elective procedures.

The training prepares the student to work in the operating room, collaborating with the surgical team and being responsible for the instrumental supply. It is a work routine that requires professional posture, background in Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and specific activities of the surgical procedure.

There are more than 450 hours of course, with classes conducted by great specialists in surgical instrumentation. During the journey, the student learns in practice, within the Hospital das Clínicas da USP, the largest hospital complex in Latin America.
