Surgical Instrumentation – September Class
The course aims to qualify nursing technicians and nurses with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work in surgical instrumentation, in small and medium-sized elective procedures.
The training prepares students to work in the operating room, collaborating with the surgical team and being responsible for the instrument supply. It's a work routine that requires a professional demeanor and a foundation in anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and specific surgical procedure activities.
The course covers over 450 hours, with classes led by leading experts in surgical instrumentation. During the course, students learn hands-on at the University of São Paulo's Hospital das Clínicas, the largest hospital complex in Latin America.
