The Specialization in Integrative Health aims to train health professionals in different aspects of care specialties, with an emphasis on therapies relevant to the multidisciplinary team. Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS) are increasingly part of health services, actions and public policies in Brazil. They reflect a new perspective on health, no longer focused solely on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, but on promoting well-being and quality of life. Currently, the SUS offers 29 PICS to the population, which demonstrates the importance of having qualified professionals to meet the demand.
The Integrated Health course, which lasts 450 hours, combines relevant knowledge with live classes with leading experts. It also offers students the opportunity to take part in practical immersions in the largest hospital complex in Latin America, with experience in the Institutional Project Ser Integral: Saúde como Fonte de Vida, developed by HCX Fmusp. At the end of the postgraduate course, the professional will be able to plan, organize and execute relevant projects in Integrative Health.
