The Specialization in Pelvic Physiotherapy aims at the conservative treatment of various pelvic dysfunctions, with an effective approach to symptoms such as: urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, nocturnal enuresis, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. In addition, the course will provide a positive impact on the quality of life and functionality of women, men, children and the LGBTQIAPN+ community affected by urinary, gynecological, sexual and gastrointestinal dysfunctions.

Pelvic health is a recent area of activity in physiotherapy, with an increasingly broad scope of work. Physiotherapists play an active role within the transdisciplinary team, whether in outpatient settings, offices, clinics or inpatient units, and serve different levels of health care and their respective complexities.
