In pelvic health, physiotherapy has a broad scope of action, supporting individuals regardless of their gender and age. It provides assistance during pregnancy, postpartum and in all dysfunctions resulting from changes in the urinary, gynecological and gastrointestinal systems. As it is still a recent specialty, the job market is lacking professionals trained to provide comprehensive care to children, men, women and the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
The postgraduate course in Pelvic and Obstetric Physiotherapy includes supervised practical experiences at HCFMUSP and theoretical classes. All with a functional and individualized approach to rehabilitation at different levels of health care.
