1st Station: Feeding Difficulties in Atypical Children: How to Assess and Intervene - A Behavioral Approach
Feeding difficulties are a common condition in atypical children, especially those with ASD, affecting up to 85% of this population, with severity ranging from mild to severe. These conditions can lead to nutritional deficiencies or excesses, compromising the child's health and the quality of life of the entire family.
This is the first of four stations on our Journey: Overcoming Eating Difficulties, a unique practical immersion into the market, guided by leading professionals from the largest hospital complex in Latin America.

1st Station (26th and 27th April) - Food Selectivity in ASD: how to assess and intervene – a behavioral approach.
2nd Station (28th and 29th June) - Eating Difficulties in Private and Public Schools: what to do?
3rd Station (09 and 10/08) - Food Therapy in Food Selectivity with a Transdisciplinary Approach Based on Respect: where to start?
4th Station (10/18 and 10/19) - Nutritional Intervention in Eating Difficulties: Clinical evaluation, request and interpretation of exams and supplementation.
In total, there are more than 48 hours of theory and practice, within the ICr HCFMUSP, a reference in the country in teaching, research and assistance to children and adolescents.
The course takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, with theory on Saturday and practical sessions on Sunday. You can purchase the combo or individual sessions, based on your needs and interests.
At the end of this journey, you will be better prepared to deal with and intervene effectively and with scientific basis in the dietary challenges that arise in your office, clinic or school.
