USP Emergency Medicine Course - 2025 Edition + PRINTED BOOK [12 months of access]

The Emergency Medicine program was developed by the Clinical Emergencies Department at FMUSP (University of São Paulo) with a focus on preparing emergency physicians for safer emergency room practice. It is the most traditional program in the country, with over 20,000 graduates.

There are many reasons why a patient goes to an emergency room. Medical emergencies are diverse and can present in both common and rare forms. Therefore, emergency physicians face the challenge of rapid diagnosis, knowing which tests are truly essential, anticipating potential complications in each case, and responding promptly and as a team. Furthermore, patients are not always able to demonstrate their normal health status, which can worsen their condition and restrict treatment.

It is definitely a very challenging scenario, requiring emergency responders to have varied, in-depth, and up-to-date knowledge.

In the course, you'll learn from some of the country's leading names in Emergency Medicine. The course covers over 150 hours, distributed across 10 modules, including podcasts, self-assessment questions, case discussions, online forums, and a presentation of the institutional protocols of the FMUSP Hospital das Clínicas. Additionally, upon enrolling, students receive the updated edition of the book "Emergency Medicine – Practical Approach," published by Editora Manole.

2025 Edition:

• Starts April 23, 2025 and access for 12 months, regardless of purchase date.
• Modules will be released monthly, starting in April 2025
• Classes are renewed and re-recorded with each edition of the course
