Elderly Caregiver, Night Class - 1st Semester of 2026

The Elderly Caregiver course aims to train professionals trained to deal with the care of elderly people who need special attention, as well as to value the quality of life, well-being and appreciation of the elderly in the family, showing that it is possible to age in an active and healthy manner.

Among the main activities are the notions of nursing, such as care with the administration of medications, with the patient's room and personal hygiene. In addition, the caregiver course will also address legal aspects of the statute and law of the elderly, human relations and ethics, bases for care, and first aid in practical workshops.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, students have the opportunity to experience, in person, supervised visits for 5 days, led by specialists from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.

• Theory on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 19:00 to 23:00.
• Supervised visits will take place over 05 days, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 to 12:00 or from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Nursing Home affiliated with the school.

Requirements: Have completed elementary education (formerly first grade) and be over 18 years of age
