1st Congress of Former Residents of Neurosurgery at HCFMUSP

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the 1st Congress of Former Neurosurgery Residents at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (HCFMUSP) — an unprecedented event that will bring together professionals who were part of the neurosurgical training of one of the most renowned institutions in Latin America.

The event will take place on November 28 and 29, 2025, 100% in person, on the premises of the HCFMUSP, providing an environment for reunion, scientific updating and strengthening ties between different generations of neurosurgeons trained by the house.

The program was carefully designed to cover fundamental themes of neurosurgical practice, with a special focus on three major areas: spine, brain, and peripheral nerves. In addition, participants will have access to the new guidelines and updated behaviors, discussed by the institution's specialists and professors, in line with the most recent advances in literature

and international guidelines.

More than a scientific conference, this will be a moment to celebrate the professional trajectory of each former resident, exchange of experiences, networking and building new partnerships. It will also be an opportunity to meet colleagues, mentors and relive the academic and hospital experience that marked

the beginning of so many successful careers.
