1st Congress of Former Residents of Neurosurgery at HCFMUSP

It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the 1st Congress of Former Neurosurgery Residents of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (HCFMUSP) — an unprecedented meeting that will bring together professionals who were part of the neurosurgical training of one of the most renowned institutions in Latin America.

The event will take place on November 14th and 15th, 2025, 100% in person, at HCFMUSP, providing an environment for reunion, scientific updating and strengthening of ties between different generations of neurosurgeons trained at the institution.

The program was carefully designed to cover fundamental topics in neurosurgical practice, with a special focus on three major areas: spine, brain and peripheral nerves. In addition, participants will have access to new guidelines and updated procedures, discussed by specialists and professors from the institution, in line with the most recent advances in the literature and international guidelines.

More than just a scientific conference, this will be a time to celebrate the professional careers of each former resident, exchange experiences, network and build new partnerships. It will also be an opportunity to meet colleagues and mentors again and relive the academic and hospital experience that marked the beginning of so many successful careers.
