Safe Surgery Workshop

The Safe Surgery course aims to qualify healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety before anesthetic induction, surgical incision and leaving the room.

Aimed at nursing professionals and those working in surgical centers, the course was developed by the multidisciplinary team of the surgical center of the Instituto Central do Hospital das Clínicas da FMUSP.

The course lasts more than 8 hours, with classes on several important topics, such as Risk Management, Safety in the use of medication, nursing care during anesthesia and patient positioning. The certificate is endorsed by HCFMUSP, the largest hospital complex in Latin America.
