Safe Surgery Workshop

The purpose of the Safe Surgery course is to qualify health professionals to ensure patient safety before anesthetic induction, surgical incision, and exit from the room.

Aimed at nursing professionals working in the surgical center, the course was developed by the multidisciplinary team of the surgical center of the Central Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas of the FMUSP.

There

are more than 8 hours of course, with classes on several important topics, such as Risk Management, Safety in the use of medications, nursing care in the anesthetic act, and patient positioning. The certificate is certified by HCFMUSP, the largest hospital complex

in Latin America.
