The Technical Training in Orthosis and Prosthesis with an emphasis on Suropodalic and Transtibial aims to improve physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other professionals in the field in the evaluation, manufacture and adaptation of orthopedic devices, including orthoses and prostheses. The objective is to provide essential practical and theoretical knowledge, such as taking measurements, plaster molding, workshop production, in addition to the adjustment and periodic monitoring of the equipment to the patient. Thus, it seeks to expand the expertise of professionals in the manufacture of devices that promote rehabilitation and the improvement of the quality of life of users
.In addition, the course aims to train participants in the interpretation and application of current legislation related to user rights and professional standards.
Ergonomic principles, routines, work protocols, and safe practices in the handling of specialized equipment will be addressed. Thus, it seeks to promote ethical, efficient and safe action, guaranteeing excellent care and adequate communication with patients, multidisciplinary teams and
