AVCI: Case Discussions and Scientific Evidence
The course is based on the discussion of clinical cases and the presentation of scientific evidence, with an emphasis on individualizing behaviors and on the analysis of important aspects to be considered in the care of patients with stroke (Ischemic Stroke) in the acute phase.
Renowned specialists demonstrate how critical analysis of articles should be performed with aspects to be considered when interpreting scientific studies for decision-making in practice, based on clinical cases, within a problem-based learning approach.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to interpret the results of non-inferiority and superiority clinical trials, in addition to knowing how to assess whether the quality of a meta-analysis or other types of studies is adequate for their results to be considered when defining behaviors for patients with specific characteristics.
