Stroke: Case Discussions and Scientific Evidence
The course is based on the discussion of clinical cases and presentation of scientific evidence, with an emphasis on individualizing procedures and analyzing important aspects to be considered when caring for patients with stroke (Ischemic Stroke) in the acute phase.
Renowned experts demonstrate how critical analysis of articles should be carried out, highlighting aspects to be considered when interpreting scientific studies for practical decision-making, based on clinical cases, within a problem-based learning approach.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to interpret the results of non-inferiority and superiority clinical trials, as well as know how to assess whether the quality of a meta-analysis or other types of studies is adequate so that their results can be considered in defining procedures for patients with specific characteristics.
