USP Emergency Medicine Course - 2025 Edition + PRINTED BOOK [12 months access]

The Emergency Medicine course was developed by the Clinical Emergencies Department of FMUSP with a focus on preparing emergency physicians for safer work in the Emergency Room. It is the most traditional training course in the country, with over 20,000 students having graduated.

There are many reasons why a patient may go to an emergency room. Medical emergencies are very diverse and can be common or rare. Therefore, the emergency physician has the challenge of providing a quick diagnosis, knowing which tests are really essential, as well as anticipating potential complications in each case and acting in a timely manner as a team. Furthermore, the patient is not always able to disclose their normal health patterns, which can worsen the condition and restrict treatment.

It is definitely a very challenging scenario, requiring emergency responders to have varied, in-depth and up-to-date knowledge.

In the course, you will learn from some of the greatest names in Emergency Medicine in the country. There are more than 150 hours, distributed in 10 modules, podcasts, self-assessment questions, as well as case discussions, online forums and presentation of the institutional protocols of the Hospital das Clínicas of FMUSP. In addition, upon enrolling, the student will receive the updated edition of the book Medicina de Emergência – Abordagem Prática, by Editora Manole.

2025 Edition:

• Starts April 23, 2025 and access for 12 months, regardless of purchase date.
• Modules will be released monthly, starting in April 2025
• Classes are renewed and re-recorded with each edition of the course
