Elderly Caregiver Night Class - 2nd Semester of 2025

The Elderly Caregiver course aims to train professionals capable of dealing with the care of elderly people who require special attention, as well as valuing the quality of life, well-being and appreciation of the elderly in the family, showing that it is possible to age in an active and healthy way.

The main activities include nursing concepts, such as medication administration, patient room care and personal hygiene. In addition, the caregiver course will also cover legal aspects of the statute and rights of the elderly, human relations and ethics, the basis for care and first aid in practical workshops.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, students have the opportunity to experience supervised visits in person for 5 days, led by specialists from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.

• Theory on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 2pm to 6pm (afternoon) and from 7pm to 11pm (evening)
• Supervised visits for 5 days on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 12pm or from 1pm to 5pm

Requirements: have completed elementary school (formerly 1st grade) and be over 18 years of age

When registering, we guarantee you the right to make up for classes given since 04/07/2025. At the appropriate time, all guidance will be given by the Course Coordination.
