Improvement and Technical Training in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT)

With the main objective of preparing hematologists to work independently with bone marrow transplants in adults, from the evaluation of the patient's history, exams, response to conventional treatment, determination of the indication for transplant, evaluation of available donors, definition of the conditioning regimen and prophylaxis of graft-versus-host disease, management of the main complications related to the procedure and long-term care, the Improvement and Technical Training in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) includes the internship in all activities in the area, including outpatient clinics, wards, cell therapy center and day hospital.
