How to deal with situations of patient violence against collaborators in health services
The increasing number of situations in which the patient or their companion exhibit violent behavior towards employees and healthcare professionals is a phenomenon observed worldwide, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic.
At HCFMUSP, the Clinical Directorate, through its Humanization Nucleus, developed and implemented a policy to address this type of violence, the so-called PEV (Policy for Addressing User Violence against Collaborators).
This course is part of the various actions for the development of this policy, which aims to promote a culture of peace and humanization.
