The PCPME (Program for the Promotion of Medical Specialization) is regulated in Brazil by Resolution No. 2,216/2018 of the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM). Strict compliance with this regulation allows program participants to obtain a provisional medical license and, consequently, to complete all practical components of the specialization, having the unique opportunity to work in the healthcare system of Brazil's Unified Health System (SUS) based on a unique case study, in a highly complex context and under the supervision of highly qualified and internationally recognized physicians.
The program requires exclusive, full-time dedication, restricted to the HCFMUSP System and previously designated locations, with activities always carried out under the supervision of the HCFMUSP Clinical Staff.
