Suicide and Self-Injury: Prevention, Intervention, and Post-Prevention
Mental health has gained prominence in the current scenario in view of the increase in cases related to suicide, self-harm, and grief processes. This short course was developed to empower professionals from different fields to deal ethically, competently and humanized with these complex situations
.With a multidisciplinary approach, the course offers practical and theoretical knowledge about suicide prevention, intervention, and post-prevention, in addition to discussing legal aspects and ethical-professional conduct. Participants will be prepared to understand the integration between the different levels of care (primary, secondary and tertiary), strengthening their
network performance.The program is aimed at professionals in health, education, security, social assistance, psychology, nursing, medicine, religious leaders, and others interested in acting collaboratively and responsibly in the face of these mental health challenges.
