Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Live Transmission and In-Person Practice
Our specialization course aims to train highly qualified professionals to provide comprehensive mental health care to children, adolescents, families, and communities that care for childhood and youth.
To achieve this goal, the program focuses on teaching the fundamental milestones of normal development, the main psychiatric diagnoses that affect this age group, and exploring the most common etiological factors associated with disorders.
Participants will also learn about evidence-based therapeutic interventions, essential to support children and their families effectively.
The course features a practical module with experts from SEPIA (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service of the Institute of Psychiatry of HCFMUSP), interviewing LIVE patients and family members with different diagnostic profiles, providing an applied and in-depth experience of clinical practice.
