Specialization in Occupational Medicine
The Specialization Course in Occupational Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), offered by HCX, prepares doctors to work in promoting workers' health, preventing work-related diseases, managing occupational risks, and making decisions in healthcare, forensic, and corporate contexts. Over 22 months and 1,920 hours of training, the student will develop technical, ethical, and managerial competencies through theoretical classes, supervised practical activities, discussion of real cases, technical visits, and workshops. At the end of the course, they will be qualified to work in public and private companies, specialized services in worker safety and health, consultancies, expert opinions, and occupational health programs.
