Specialization in Neuropsychiatry
For the first time in Brazil, the Psychiatry Institute of HCFMUSP is opening vacancies for a single graduate program, which will combine the two specialties with the objective of expanding the doctor's knowledge of neuropsychiatric conditions. All this with the FMUSP quality standard.
The historic divide between “mind” (Psychiatry) and “brain” (Neurology) has become increasingly obsolete as neuroscience advances.
To train specialists in this interface is to raise the standard of care for patients who are often diagnosed as “orphans” in traditional offices.
Neuropsychiatry isn't just about rare diseases; it's about providing a technical response to common symptoms that severely impact patient rehabilitation.
It is more than 450 hours of a complete learning journey, conducted by some of the country's leading experts, with practical experience at the IPQ, a reference in mental health in Latin America
