LGBTQIA+ health: global and gynecological care

The “LGBTQIA+ Health” course was developed to empower doctors to provide welcoming, technical and humanized care to the LGBTQIA+ population. With a comprehensive approach, it encompasses everything from fundamental concepts and terminology to specific issues such as hormones, surgical procedures, mental health, reproductive planning, aging, and family care. In addition, it includes ethical, legal, and social aspects involved in comprehensive, respectful and inclusive care

Throughout the classes, you will have contact with specialists who work directly in primary and secondary care, learning how to structure a multidisciplinary care group and how to conduct clinical practices based on scientific evidence and respect for diversity. This course is an essential tool for promoting equity and strengthening the bond between LGBTQIA+ professionals and patients in

different care settings.
