Psychology in Medical Emergencies: from the emergency room to the ICU

The course addresses the specificities of the psychologist's role in the context of medical emergencies, presenting demands and strategies for psychological intervention through clinical cases. It also deals with the development of agility in clinical reasoning and communication skills to provide fast and effective comprehensive care to patients and their families in Emergency Units and Intensive Care Units.
