2nd Edition - Practical Emergency Training - Adult
The Emergency Department of the USP Faculty of Medicine offers training focused on developing clinical and interpersonal skills for safe, ethical, and collaborative care in critical emergency situations.
Using high-fidelity simulation mannequins, actors, and realistic workstations, the course proposes activities that integrate theory and practice, promoting clinical reasoning, decision-making under pressure, and effective communication with patients, families, and staff. The methodology includes synchronous and asynchronous online classes, case discussions, and in-person simulation and skills training, encouraging active and reflective learning.
Designed for students and professionals in the healthcare field, the course covers clinical, surgical, obstetric, traumatic, and mental health emergencies in adults, focusing on the application of updated protocols and the continuous improvement of clinical practice.
