The International Cooperation Program for Training Health Professionals (PCICPS) is intended for governmental entities, clinics, or funding/scholarship institutions that are interested in specializing doctors trained abroad and without a revalidated Medical diploma in Brazil.
Foreign doctors linked to these partner institutions undergo medical specializations with duration, workload, disciplines, and theoretical-practical activities identical to those of the Brazilian Medical Residency Programs offered at the Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (HCFMUSP).
The program requires exclusive dedication, full-time, restricted to the HCFMUSP complex and its affiliated spaces – as long as previously designated in the course's Activities Program –, with activities always carried out under the supervision of the HCFMUSP Clinical Staff.
