WorkShop - Interventions in Pain: Regenerative Medicine
The 1st Course in Regenerative Medicine Interventions for Pain Treatment using Fresh Cadaver, held by the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP, offers an unprecedented and highly practical experience for professionals who wish to enhance their skills in regenerative therapies applied to musculoskeletal pain.
Taught by renowned specialists from the HC-FMUSP Complex and invited experts with extensive experience in the field, the course combines updated theoretical foundations with supervised practical training on ex‑vivo models, providing learning close to real clinical practice.
Participants will learn from basic principles to advanced techniques involving orthobiologics, such as platelet‑rich plasma (PRP), bone marrow aspirate and fragmented fat, as well as the use of biophysical technologies like shock waves, laser therapy and a super‑inductive magnetic system.
During the training, protocols for obtaining, preparing, and applying biological products will be covered, as well as ultrasound‑ and fluoroscopy‑guided injection techniques, focusing on safety and effectiveness in pain treatment.
