About Course

The course presents the types of catheters and their indications, the types of access, as well as the implantation techniques for fully implantable and semi-implantable catheters and exceptional situations.

The student will have the opportunity to learn about the care required for maintaining the catheter during and after its use, and about the removal procedure. As for possible complications, they are infectious and non-infectious.

Through autonomy in terms of time and place of study, students will have access to excellent content, developed with the support of specialists from the Central Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.
