The High-Risk Pregnancy Immersion aims to update the knowledge of gynecologists and obstetricians about high-risk pregnancies. Held over a week, the program allows for practical learning, with over 40 hours of coursework, under the supervision of leading specialists from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.

In Brazil, according to official data, about 10% of pregnancies are considered high-risk. This means that, for every 100 pregnant women, 10 have some risk factor that may result in complications for the mother or the baby. These numbers highlight the importance of qualifying doctors who can provide assistance and care for patients with this condition.

The immersion program allows doctors to closely follow the routine of high-risk pregnancy specialists at the largest hospital complex in the Americas.
