Immersion in Fetal Medicine

The course aims to train professionals through experience in the routine of one of the main fetal medicine centers in the country.

In Brazil, around 80% of congenital malformations are screened using Fetal Medicine resources. Early diagnosis of some diseases during pregnancy significantly increases the baby's chances of survival, minimizing risks for the child and the mother.

Over the course of a week, the obstetrician-gynecologist experiences first-hand the routine of examinations and discussions of highly complex cases in Fetal Medicine. All of this under the supervision of leading specialists from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP.
