The II Workshop: Perioperative Use of Medical Gases aims to provide an exchange of experiences among professionals in the field.

Therapeutic gases are used to ventilate, oxygenate, anesthetize, and treat acute respiratory infections in patients. These medical gases are used in the emergency department, surgical center, anesthetic recovery room, intensive treatment unit, as well as in wards, and are accessible throughout the hospital in cylinders or in its distribution network.
