HeartCode BLS

HeartCode BLS is the official Basic Life Support (BLS) course from the American Heart Association (AHA), updated according to the 2025 Guidelines. Offered in a mandatory hybrid format, the course combines the flexibility of online theoretical learning with the objectivity of in-person practical training, providing a more efficient, modern experience aligned with the needs of healthcare professionals. The student journey is divided into two sequential stages:

Stage 1 – Online
The student completes the theoretical phase at their own pace, in approximately 1 to 2 hours, through interactive content, clinical simulations, practical cases, and access to the official e-book included on the platform.

2nd Stage – In-person
After completing the online phase, the student participates in a 4-hour in-person practical session at the HCXFmusp Simulation Center, focusing on skills training, teamwork, and practical assessment conducted by accredited instructors.

Attention:
Completion of the online theoretical phase is a mandatory prerequisite for participation in the in-person phase. Students may only participate in the practical training upon presentation of proof of completion, in printed or digital format.
