The "LGBTQIA+ Health" course was developed to empower physicians to offer welcoming, technical, and humanized care to the LGBTQIA+ population. With a comprehensive approach, it covers everything from fundamental concepts and terminology to specific issues such as hormone therapy, surgical procedures, mental health, reproductive planning, aging, and family support. Furthermore, it addresses the ethical, legal, and social aspects involved in comprehensive, respectful, and inclusive care.

Throughout the course, you will interact with specialists who work directly in primary and secondary care, learning how to structure a multidisciplinary care team and how to conduct clinical practices based on scientific evidence and respect for diversity. This course is an essential tool for promoting equity and strengthening the bond between LGBTQIA+ professionals and patients in different care settings.
