Fellowship in Bone Metabolism and Osteoporosis
The Fellowship in Osteometabolic Diseases – with a focus on Bone Metabolism and Osteoporosis – is an advanced training program aimed at physicians who wish to deepen their practice in the diagnosis and management of osteometabolic diseases, especially in scenarios of greater clinical complexity.
Lasting 6 months, the program combines structured theoretical content with practical immersion in a specialized outpatient clinic, providing the participant with direct contact with real cases, discussion of evidence-based practices, and development of applied clinical reasoning.
Throughout the fellowship, the student will be trained to interpret bone densitometry exams in an advanced manner, investigate secondary causes of osteoporosis, stratify fracture risk, and indicate individualized pharmacological therapies.
At the end of the course, the professional will be able to handle complex cases in bone metabolism with greater safety, autonomy, and alignment with the most updated international guidelines.
