HCFMUSP Experience in Practice

The HCFMUSP Experience in Practice Program aims to bring the practical and technical-scientific knowledge that permeates the Hospital das Clínicas of the FMUSP to students from all over Brazil in the 4th, 5th and 6th year of undergraduate medicine.

In this immersion, you choose up to 3 subjects in order of interest and have the opportunity to follow the routine of your departments in the largest hospital complex in America and also carry out some medical practices under supervision.

If the student chooses to study more than one subject, they must enroll again.

What is the Program like?

It includes compulsory and optional subjects:

• Compulsory course “Introduction to Medical Practice” (20 hours)
• Optional course with a duration of one month (160 hours) - check the schedule tab for available programs and places
• Allowed to study up to 3 different specialties

The didactic program will be developed by the Departments/Disciplines

Assessment:

• Formative: Feedback from the course supervisor
• Summary: grade and attendance, registration and certification by CCEx
• Program evaluation: online assessment
• Check all program information in the “Course Content” tab
