HCFMUSP Experience in Practice

The HCFMUSP Experience in Practice Program aims to bring the practical and technical-scientific knowledge that permeates the Hospital das Clínicas of FMUSP to students from all over Brazil in the 4th, 5th and 6th year of undergraduate Medicine.

In this immersion, you choose up to 3 disciplines in order of interest and have the opportunity to follow the routine of your departments in the largest hospital complex in America and even carry out some medical practices under supervision.

If the student chooses to take more than one subject, he/she must register again.

What is the Program like?

Includes mandatory and optional subjects:

• Mandatory subject "Introduction to Medical Practice" (8h)
• Elective course lasting one month (160h) - check the programs and available vacancies in the schedule tab
• Allowed to study up to 3 different specialties
• The teaching program will be developed by the Departments/Disciplines

Assessment:

• Formative: Feedback from the internship supervisor
• Summative: grade and attendance, registration and certification by CCEx
• Program evaluation: online assessment
