Specialization in General Psychiatry – Live
The Specialization in General Psychiatry prepares students to handle any highly complex psychiatric clinical situation. It's an innovative program with highly qualified faculty, unique practical experience, and a diploma from the University of São Paulo's Hospital das Clínicas, the largest in Latin America.
Over 450 hours of theory and practice, taught by USP professors who are leaders in their fields. The content covers everything from basic concepts to general psychiatry. It includes classes on major topics such as: personality disorders, eating disorders, childhood and adolescent disorders, psychotic and depressive disorders, substance dependence and anxiety disorders, epilepsy, and dementia.
Upon completing the postgraduate course in General Psychiatry, the professional will be able to perform all psychiatric reasoning, understand diagnoses and management, from common to the most complex cases.
