Specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - Live Streaming and In-Person Practice
The main objective of our specialization course is to train highly qualified professionals to offer comprehensive mental health care to children, adolescents, families, and communities that care for children and youth.
To achieve this objective, the program focuses on teaching the fundamental milestones of normal development, the main psychiatric diagnoses affecting this age group, in addition to exploring the most common etiological factors associated with disorders.
Participants will also learn about evidence-based therapeutic interventions, essential to effectively support children and their families.
The course includes a practical module with experts from SEPIA (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service of the Institute of Psychiatry of the HCFMUSP), interviewing LIVE patients and families with different diagnostic profiles, providing an applied and in-depth experience of clinical practice.
