The Specialization course in Herbal Drugs and Medicinal Plants respects the traditional use of Herbal Drugs and Medicinal Plants, the national legislation and regulations determined by ANVISA, and the recognition of international and Brazilian Pharmacopeias as fundamental documents in the study of the topic. The scientific basis and the multidisciplinary nature of the class enrich the practices, the discussions of clinical cases, and guarantee prescription safety

All content is based on the rational use of herbal medicine and medicinal plants, ranging from basic knowledge of the mechanisms of action, to drug interactions and the initial concepts of pharmacovigilance associated with herbal medicines and natural products.
