Specialization in Phytotherapy and Medicinal Plants - EAD

The Specialization Course in Phytotherapeutics and Medicinal Plants respects the traditional use of Phytotherapeutics and Medicinal Plants, the national legislation and regulations determined by ANVISA and the recognition of international and Brazilian Pharmacopoeias as fundamental documents in the study of the subject. The scientific basis and multidisciplinarity of the class enrich the practices, the discussions of clinical cases and guarantee safety in the prescription.

All content presents a basis for the rational use of phytotherapy and medicinal plants, ranging from basic knowledge of the mechanisms of action to drug interactions and the initial concepts of pharmacovigilance associated with phytotherapeutics and natural products.
