Specialization in Pediatric Emergencies

The Pediatric Emergency Care course aims to update physicians in pediatric emergency care, from diagnosis to therapeutic intervention. It brings together a highly qualified faculty and benefits from the excellence of the Child and Adolescent Institute (ICr HCFMUSP), a leading provider of pediatric care in Brazil and abroad.

Pediatric Emergency was recognized by the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics and the Brazilian Association of Emergency Medicine (ABRAMEDE) as a subspecialty in 2018. This relevance means that an increasingly significant number of doctors working in the area have the need to improve their knowledge, with concepts and practice.

The specialization is divided into monthly courses and lasts 18 months, with practical activities supervised by leading specialists. Upon completion, the doctor will have all the knowledge necessary to make a difference in this important pediatric field.
