The specialization in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases aims to train gastroenterologists and coloproctologists for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of complications associated with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). The course brings together a highly qualified faculty, unique practical experience in the market and a diploma from the Hospital das Clínicas da USP (HCFMUSP)

IDIs affect more than 5 million people worldwide, according to estimates by the Brazilian Society of Coloproctology (SBCP). In Brazil alone, IBD cases grew 15% on average between 2012 and 2020. The scenario shows the importance of the qualification of medical specialists in the subject in the country

The course has more than 1326 hours of excellent content, taught by leading HC professionals. The student also has the opportunity to learn in practice in the outpatient clinics specialized in IBD in Gastroenterology and Coloproctology
