Specialization in Physical Education in Health in a Hospital Environment
The course aims to provide physical educators and other health professionals with solid knowledge in exercise physiology, pathophysiology and treatments of chronic degenerative diseases, with an emphasis on the role of physical exercise in prevention and therapy.
Throughout the journey, you will learn to perform activities related to the role of a physical education professional in a hospital setting, as defined by the Federal Council of Physical Education.
In addition to the in-person theoretical classes on weekends, the course offers the opportunity to follow the outpatient care and research routines in the different Physical Conditioning Laboratories and Rehabilitation Units located in the Institutes of the HC Complex, as well as participate in activities aimed at developing recommendations for the work of Physical Education professionals in the care of chronic non-communicable conditions.
