The course seeks to offer physical educators and other health professionals solid knowledge in exercise physiology, pathophysiology and treatments for chronic degenerative diseases, with an emphasis on the role of physical exercise in prevention and therapy.
Throughout the journey, you will learn to perform activities related to the role of physical education professionals in the hospital context, defined by the Federal Council of Physical Education.
In addition to face-to-face theoretical classes on weekends, the course offers as a great advantage the opportunity to follow the routines of outpatient care and research in the different Physical Conditioning Laboratories and Rehabilitation Units located in the HC Complex Institutes, as well as participating in activities oriented towards the elaboration of recommendations for the performance of the Physical Education professional in the care of chronic non-communicable conditions.
