Specialization in Physical Health Education in a Hospital Environment
The course seeks to provide physical educators and other health professionals with solid knowledge in exercise physiology, physiopathology, and treatments for chronic degenerative diseases, with an emphasis on the role of physical exercise in prevention and therapy.
Throughout the journey, you will learn to perform activities related to the performance of physical education professionals in the hospital context, defined by the Federal Council for Physical Education.
In addition to face-to-face theoretical classes on weekends, the course offers as a major differential the opportunity to follow the routines of outpatient care and research in the different Physical Fitness Laboratories and Rehabilitation Units included in the Institutes of the HC Complex, as well as to participate in activities aimed at preparing recommendations for the performance of physical education professionals in the care of chronic non-communicable conditions.
