Gerontology Course HCFMUSP – 2025

The Gerontogeriatrics course covers concepts ranging from basic to advanced topics in Geriatrics, from an up-to-date, evidence-based perspective that is adapted to the Brazilian reality. The course presents challenges in clinical practice, some essential topics such as dementia and cardiogeriatrics, and discusses and issues ranging from health promotion to finitude.

There are more than 45 hours of excellent content, led by some of the greatest experts in Geriatrics in Brazil. Throughout the course, you will learn about the particularities of the elderly population, better understand the main syndromes and learn how to provide better care, with a focus on management and health promotion.

Furthermore, when taking the course, you have access to lectures and discussion moments, with the possibility of recording, so you can watch whenever and however you want, in case you are unable to participate in the broadcast activities.
